Terms and Conditions
When renting with us you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
If this is not agreed upon by the renter the service will not be available to you.
If you have any questions regarding the following terms and conditions, don't hesitate to ask.

Payments
- payments are to be made through our bank account, they will be held for a day and once the payment is received the rental will be secured for your selected date.
- If you are trying on a rental and taking it to an event that day or the day after the payment needs to be shown and confirmed on the day.
Shipping
- Garments will be sent by courier post with overnight courier two days before the event (where possible).
- Wednesday will be the cut off for weekend rentals.
- Once the garment is with the courier company the shipping is out of our control, however if there are any delays we will open an investigation and do whatever we can to get the garment to you in time.
- In the unlikely event that your rental doesn't arrive on time due to the post (reasons we cannot control) you will be entitled to a store credit to use for another time.
- Return postage will cost $12
Pick Ups
- Pick-ups are located in Masterton and will be free of charge.
- Pick-ups will be available depending on the availability of the garment and you will receive an email with pick-up instructions once your order is ready to be collected (please check junk mail if you haven't received an email).
- Items can be collected at an agreed time by both parties.
Returns/Drop offs
- You must return the garment by the next working day (Monday for weekend rentals unless it's a public holiday).
- If the item was initially picked up, then drop off will be at the same location as picked up and this time should be arranged prior. No later than 8 pm. You must hand the item to us (Molly or Abby) directly. If you leave the garment unattended and the garment goes missing, you will be liable to cover the retail cost of the garment.
- If returning the item using the prepaid bag, you must hand it over the counter at your local NZ post or Courier post depot. Please do not put the return bag in a postbox, this will slow down shipping and the items do not get tracked.
- If you fail to ensure that the item is tracked, and the item goes missing you will be liable to cover the retail value of the garment. These must be sent back no later than 4 pm. Failure to return the garment in time will result in a $15 late fee per day. If the next customer who booked the garment misses out because of this, you will be liable to cover the cost of refunding them.
Cleaning/Damage
- The clothing should not be washed, ironed, or safety pinned. However, if the dress is damaged you will be required to cover the price of repairing the item or the dry cleaning costs. In the event that the item is returned in a non-rentable state and cannot be repaired or fully cleaned, you will be required to pay the full retail cost of the dress for replacement. If this rental is booked by other renters for future dates and it has to be cancelled because of the damage, you are liable to pay these future rental costs, as this is a loss to the business.
- Due to the fact that many of these outfits are booked in advance, we ask that you take additional care to prevent damage when wearing them.
Care of Garment
- Please ensure that you fake tan at least one day before wearing the rental. The garments can become stained if the tan has not been entirely washed off. (Please refrain from instant tans that you do not wash off as they transfer to clothing and leave stains.)
- Please also do not spray perfume directly onto the garment as it can cause discolouration.
Refunds
- In the unlikely event the garment arrives damaged, we will offer you a refund or store credit. Alternatively, we can send you a replacement garment if wish.
- You must send photo evidence of the damage on the day the dress arrives to be eligible for a refund. The dress will need to be returned that day either via the prepaid bag or dropped back locally.
- we do not offer refunds for garments that do not fit or look the way you wanted, so please choose wisely.
- We do not offer refunds for cancelled events, unless caused by covid.
Cancellations
- If you wish to cancel your booking please be in contact with us as soon as possible.
- Cancellation for postal orders will need 7 days notice prior to your booked date to qualify for a store credit. Cancellation for pick-up orders must be made at least 48 hours before your event date to receive a store credit.
- Covid-19 cancellations result in a full store credit that will be valid for 1 year.
Try ons
- Local try ons (Masterton) are open from Tuesday through to Thursday at 5.30 pm - 8.30 pm.
- You will need to book a time through the Instagram page. If you are wanting to know if an item is available that you would like to try on, feel free to direct message us on Instagram.

Ma rentals have the right to alter/change/add these terms and conditions as we see fit. The renter is responsible for ensuring that they are aware of the current version prior to renting. Any breach of the above-stated terms and conditions will be addressed in a professional matter and is expected to be resolved within 24 hours of the breach.
